Phyllis Adler, MSW
Phyllis has been associated with Stepping Stones since its inception in 1984, serving as an original member of the Stepping Stones Advisory Committee. In the opening years, Phyllis taught elementary classes for the program and began 15 years ago to assume managerial responsibilities. Phyllis was the Education Director for nine years and has been the director of Stepping Stones for the last ten years. Phyllis received her master’s in Social Work in 1978 from the University of Denver.
A Jewish and inter-religious educator, speaker, spiritual facilitator and counselor, Cynthia works with diverse groups of people and individuals to create support services and programs that address a variety of complex emotional and social issues. Her experience and educational background includes inter-religious and comparative theological studies, interfaith dialogue facilitation, and pastoral care and counseling. Cynthia has deep roots in the Denver Jewish community and honors the dor l'dor (generation to generation) legacy of supporting Stepping Stones.
Susan Chayet, Executive Assistant
Susan Chayet has been with Stepping Stones for six years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree, in Business from California State University Northridge. Her dedication to Jewish education, service to the community and commitment to the entire staff serves all aspects of the agency. Her extensive management background and customer service is key to making all program participants feel welcome and informed.
